This is Neat...
I think this website is a cool idea, and I'm looking forward to 'meeting' other people who train their animals.
My 3 y/o Standard Poodle Charlie is my main focus right now, though I've been working with my cat Timmy as well.
Charlie is a do-it-all dog - conformation, agility, obedience, rally, service 'demo' dog, and hopefully therapy and search and rescue in the future. Of course he also has quite a few tricks, including how to read verbal commands.
Timmy is an older cat who had been abandoned a few years ago so my family kept him. When I was off at college my brother started developing cat allergies. I really wanted to keep Timmy since he is amazing with dogs (raised with Mini Schnauzers), so when I finished school Timmy came to stay with me at my new home.
I haven't done much with him yet, but he will come, sit, high five, speak, and jump on fairly reliably with little to no signals (verbal only). He sort of knows off, kennel and up (front paws only).
Tricks I plan only adding in the near future are wave, sit pretty (on haunches), down, stay, rub (on an object), targeting and go to.
I plan on uploading videos of each in the future, but have know idea when I'll get a chance to film/edit.
