About Me:
I am starting a dog boarding/grooming/training business in western MA, after graduating from the Assistance Dog Institute in Santa Rosa, CA. Since a large portion of my training (and personal goals) revolve around the assistance dog field, I am also starting a program training only Poodles for service and therapy work.
I was in a dog 4-H club for years and now help-out the younger kids... that was my first experience in the competition world. I have since moved on to AKC/UKC as well, though haven't had time to start competing yet.
My Poodle and I love to learn together and have taught each other many things. We are always looking for new, exciting, and intellectual 'tricks'.

This is Neat...

I think this website is a cool idea, and I'm looking forward to 'meeting' other people who train their animals.

My 3 y/o Standard Poodle Charlie is my main focus right now, though I've been working with my cat Timmy as well.

Charlie is a do-it-all dog - conformation, agility, obedience, rally, service 'demo' dog, and hopefully therapy and search and rescue in the future. Of course he also has quite a few tricks, including how to read verbal commands.
